What People Say

This book should be a staple in every child’s library or book collection.

I love the message of this book for it teaches children the complexity of societal issues such as discrimination and racism but through a simple lens so children can grasp the idea even at a young age.

I read that the author's goal in life is to spread as much as she possibly able and I think she did it through this work. Her innocence and desire to entertain shines through the book and I am happy that there are still authors who can do that simply through her work. Simply outstanding!

David Garcia

I was so impressed with this book that I bought it for my daughter. It is a great story of self-confidence and learning to look beyond physical features to appreciate someone for who they are. I loved that this book is timely and teaches the children despite of how they young they are.

Gwen

This book is an adventurous tale of friendship and understanding that is sure to captivate readers of all ages. Moreover, this children's book will excite your children and keep them curious on how the story unfolds and how the other characters perceive the Regimarilla.

This work of Higgins is a balm for the soul and I am all in it for it. Her words have the power to heal, to comfort, and to entertain. One thing I have noticed from Higgins' works are the unique choice of characters and names, which makes it more unique and interesting. This is also a good bed time story choice for parents.
